Russell Herbert <\/strong>is the Superintendent Minister for the Gordano Valley Circuit. He has specific responsibility in Clevedon for Kenn Road Methodist Church and is on the team at Christchurch Methodist-Anglican Partnership. He is married to Tamara and they have three children.
Russell felt a strong call to ministry when he was just 17, following life-changing experiences of the Holy Spirit. He studied theology before serving as a youth worker in Essex and then a lay pastoral worker in Newton Abbot. Before coming to Clevedon in 2007 he served eight years as a minister in the Ringsash Circuit in mid-Devon.
Russell has a passion for renewal <\/em>and evangelism <\/em>among all ages. He says: \u201cEvery Christian should have a \u2018whole-life faith\u2019, in which everything is based on a personal relationship with God.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Deborah Mallett<\/strong>\u00a0is minister at the Nailsea and Backwell churches, having worked previously as teacher of Modern Languages.
Deborah combined her long teaching career with ministry as a circuit local preacher and her role as mum to two children, now young adults. Her husband Mark was previously head teacher of Chew Valley School before retirement.
She is excited about serving the church full-time and about the ways in which authentic experiences of worship and fellowship empower us to live faithfully and hopefully in God\u2019s world.
\u2018Our deepening communion with God and with one another in Christ is the life-giving gift we are called to share with others.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Jill Flowers<\/strong>\u00a0is minister for Yatton and Pill. She loves working with all ages, and seeing the church and community grow together. All age worship and Messy Church are something she very much enjoys, as well as preaching and teaching.

Jill is married to John, and has two children. She has been a minister for 30 years. Jill’s vision is to help the church to grow in faith, to share their faith, and to draw others to faith, as we reach out with love and compassion.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Nick Moxon<\/strong> is the minister for Portishead (High Street) and Redcliffe Bay churches. He has been a Methodist minister for 17 years and his previous ap-pointment was as Evangelism Enabler for the Lancashire district for 9 years.

Nick is married to Catherine who is a Sign language interpreter and they have 4 daughters who keep them busy. When he has time, Nick likes to keep fit. He has taken part in a number of triathlons from short races to one that took him six and a half hours! “I love being out on my bike, swimming up and down the pool or running around the marina here in Portishead. I do most of my sermon preparation when doing exercise.”

Nick has a passion to see people discover who God has created them to be and to live out their faith in their daily lives. “Sometimes that takes folk away from doing ‘church jobs’ but it’s more important that followers of Jesus live out their faith wherever they are and whoever they are with.” Nick feels that his role is to equip his congregation to be ‘whole-life disciples’.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
